Global Citizenship and the Scottish Education Awards

Comments: none

The Scottish Education Awards are an annual opportunity for schools and staff to gain recognition for their hard work and celebrate excellence in practice. The competition is open to all publicly funded schools and invites nominations in a number of award categories. A Scottish Government news release covers the launch.

For teachers and pupils who are active in Global Citizenship, the most relevant categories are  likely to be the Global Citizenship Award and the Sustainable Schools Award, but in the past citizenship has often appeared as a key aspect of nominations in other categories too. Nominations can be made until Friday 4th March, and the SEA website has full details and the form.
